Now, Stork Veco is introducing re-usable metal micro filters with absolute retention capacity. Due to the unique manufacturing process, our micro filters contain highly-accurate and consistent pore sizes and are very easy to clean (mechanical or back flush). Stork Veco’s micro filters serve applications involving contaminants in the range of 0.2 to 10.0 microns. Examples of these applications are:

• cold sterilization of drinks and pharmaceuticals
• removal of particles and microorganism (bacteria) from aqueous streams
• yeast cell separation
• filtering of impurities in inkjet printing systems
• separation of oil-water emulsions

The Stork Veco’s metal micro filters are easily cleaned in the process and they keep the flux constant with surprisingly low differential pressure. Allowing them to be used more than once, resulting in substantial cost savings.
